How do I report incorrect restaurant data?
Email us the restaurant name, city, and what looks wrong. Because our data comes straight from health departments, we'll verify against the source and, where the error originates upstream, flag it with the agency.
Can you add my city?
Often, yes. If your local health department publishes open inspection data, adding a city is usually a small configuration change. Send us the city and a link to its open-data portal.
Do you take restaurant advertising?
No. To keep grades trustworthy, CleanPlate does not accept restaurant advertising or paid placement of any kind.
How fresh is the data?
Searches read from the source and cache briefly. Update frequency depends on each health department — see the live data status page for the current state of every feed.
